three signs that spring is near
* It's been sunny three days in a row. The last time this happened was sometime in November.
* A load of laundry hung out on the porch all day almost completely dried.
* Crocuses and snowdrops are already blooming, the daffodils by the bridge are about 3 inches up, and the plants with little purple flowers that are on the bank of the canal in front of our house have just made their first appearance.
