And more anxiously the last few months, when Gwen has been parroting everything we say...everything, that is, except the three magic words.

But tonight, as we biked home, she would say "Hello, Mommy", and I'd reply "Hello, sweetie" (which she would repeat, pretty adorable in itself), and then I said "I love you", and she replied "wuv you".

I've waited to hear those words from my child for a long time.
