chai makes me happy

As I've mentioned before, one thing I've missed about Madison since moving here is the chais I used to get regularly from Espresso Royale Cafe at the foot of State Street - just close enough to the library to make running up there to get a chai and an oatmeal cookie on my break very rewarding. We'd been running out of tea lately, so we put in a big order with Upton Tea Company, had it shipped to mom and had her bring it with. I picked out a chai blend, and just tried it tonight for the first time. It's not the same as ERC chai, but it definitely hits the spot. Mmmmm. Just the right kind of pick-me-up after a couple of days of sniffles and a drippy nose.
