Mar. 31st, 2010 04:48 pmI've got about 2.5 hours before I head to the airport, where I'll get a flight to Frankfurt and from there one to Sydney, Australia, via Singapore. I'm sitting here wondering what it is that I've forgotten to pack. I've got the Pelican regalia, lots of garb, sandals, my veil and belt, pajamas, toiletries, and hopefully enough reading material. I'm pretty sure that anything I've forgotten can be supplied by people there.
Joel's interview in Liverpool was earlier today; he flew over there yesterday morning so that he could have a day to sight-see and also so that he could have a good night's sleep rather than flying over the morning of the interview. He's coming back tonight, but his flight lands 25 minutes after mine is scheduled to depart, so I'll just miss him. I won't see him until I get back next Thursday. :( I sure hope it went well.
The part about this trip I'm most worried about? Zilch internet access for 8 days. The sheer amount of email I'm going to have when I get back is boggling...
