this is going to be difficult
Jun. 3rd, 2010 10:41 amI've printed off the application to apply for my Russian visa. Most of it is all straight forward except for the fact that they give you 30 characters to answer such questions as "list all the countries you have visited in the last ten years and indicate the year of a visit" and "list all educational institutions you have ever attended, except high schools" and they only give space for two. Luckily they only ask for your two most recent employers, not counting your current one; if it were three, I'd be putting down the Hancock Fabrics in Marshfield that I worked at for a year in high school! I'm not sure what it says about your life when the number of institutes of higher education you've attended is only one less than the number of employers you've had.
But that first question is the most tough. First of all, I'm not sure I can name every country I've been to since I was 18:
- U.S.A., Netherlands, England, Scotland, Wales, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Iceland, Finland, Switzerland...and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
