Gwen has four main ways of chronologising life events. Everything has either happened or will happen:

  • Yesterday.

  • Tomorrow.

  • Saturday.

or

  • Long Time Ago.

(I particularly love the last, which is generally used in the syntax: "Long Time Ago: I did X", as in "Long Time Ago: Daddy and I had ice cream." And sometimes "Long Time Ago" is augmented with the locational maker: "In (sometimes "At") Heidelberg".) "Long Time Ago" can be anything from "3 days ago" to "more than a year ago".

Is "Saturday" future or past?

Felix used to say "over there" when he talked about things that had happened a few days or weeks ago. Milo sometimes uses "yestermorrow" (my attempt at translation).
