Uckelmanns in Germany
Feb. 17th, 2008 06:54 pmBenedikt just sent me a very cool website outlining the distribution of people with the surname Uckelmann in Germany. Joel is related to pretty much all of the ones in the red, orange, and yellow areas. The rest we're also probably related to, but further back. For comparison, here are the Friedemanns, the Kelbes, the Glewwes, the Abfalders, and the Stolpers.
I still haven't been able to get fresh sage from the grocery store, so instead of making another pecorino bread recipe today, I made cinnamon bread. It's a good old standby, and I haven't made it in a few months. Once I figured out its trick, it always turns out well.
