Thanksgiving #2
Nov. 25th, 2013 12:49 amThat's what we had here in Iowa today; Rita made a turkey, and we had that with fixings in the midafternoon. Gwen, as usual, loved all of it.
And the fun isn't over! We'll be doing Thanksgiving back in Heidelberg, next Sunday. We actually have a couple of American friends that we can invite over; Thanksgiving is a weird holiday to invite non-Americans over for (though this hasn't stopped us in the past!), and if we don't invite anyone we don't have any reason to go all out. We enjoy having people over, so I'm glad that we've got a reason to cook something fancy.
