I'm going to Lochac for Rowany Festival, arriving 6:50am Friday 02 April and leaving again 4:50pm Wednesday 07 April. I applied for my vis about 15 minutes ago and just got my plane tickets from the travel agent. So, Lochacers, please spread the word! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you.

There's been rumours of this flying round the Lochac College of Heralds for months, so many heralds know already. Nice to have it confirmed though.

Unfortunately, having a 7 month old daughter precludes a long distance trip to Festival for me this year, but I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with those who will be there.

Next time you come out you should definitely extend your trip to include Stormhold! :)

Oh, that's too bad that you won't be there! You're one I'd particularly hoped to meet.

Next time I hope that I won't be teaching and having visitors the week before so that I don't have to fit my trip in within the span of a week. :( And then I'll go to Stormhold, and Southron Gaard and all sorts of places.

sorry we will miss you! We are going to Suth Moot for Easter, as Festival is too far away (being half way across the country!)... if you are staying beyond Festival and heading westwards to Innilgard (Adelaide), let us know! we have crash space.

I wish I had time to do some traveling either before or afterwards but am pretty hampered by my teaching schedule. :( Otherwise I would've loved to come visit!

Damn! Damn! Damn! I'm not going to be attending Rowany as there is another event closer to home over the Easter Weekend and it's much cheaper not to have to drive all the way to Sydney. Sigh.

Given all the people/places I won't be able to go and visit on this trip, I guess I need to find an academic conference somewhere in that part of the world so I have an excuse to go back. :)
