So, Joel tried to pay me a compliment last night. He said "you're the reason I get out of bed in the morning." Of course, half the fun of being married to someone who essentially plays with language for a living is willful misinterpretation. Naturally, I concluded that the reason he gets out of bed in the morning is that he can't stand being near me any longer!
