ETA: post-unlocked (24apr11) since now both sets of grandparents know.
For the time being, it's mostly negative. No name beginning with 'P'. No name beginning with 'F' (most definitely no name beginning with F. I'm not that cruel). At least one of the boy's names I really like is the name of a good friend of Joel's; as Joel said, if we name the baby that, said friend will simply assert that we named him after him. :)
There's a number of Dutch names that I like, but I'm not sure I can convince him of that. Since it's likely that we'll be moving to Germany, and we both have German heritage, and a good German surname, we're also debating picking a good, solid German name from one or both of our family histories. Unfortunately, some of the recently used names include things like Emil and Bernhard, and I'm not sure I can go that far...
