It's all jpgsawyer's fault.

If Lord Thomas weren't such a good cook, he wouldn't have received a phone call from a king sometime in February. If the king hadn't have called him, he wouldn't have decided that yes, he'd agree to be made a member of the Order of the Laurel at Crown Tourney. If he hadn't agreed to this, then he wouldn't have encouraged Master Paul to attend the event to participate in the elevation. If Paul hadn't decided to come to the event, he wouldn't have worried about being bored during the tourney. If he hadn't worried about being bored during the tourney, Viscount Robert wouldn't have suggested to him that he fight in it. If Robert hadn't planted that suggestion in him, he [Robert] wouldn't have emailed me asking me if I wanted to be Paul's consort in Crown Tourney. And that is how it came to be that I am now Crown Princess of Drachenwald:



So it's all Thomas's fault. :)

Weeeelllll....12th Night Coronation is usually the second weekend of January. It's supposed to be in Insulae Draconis (UK/Ireland/Iceland). I spoke with the kingdom seneschal Saturday about bids and commented that it'd be really nice if Harplestane (Scotland) were interested....

Master Paul always said he avoided Crown tourneys, because he didn't enjoy tournaments he wasn't taking part in. Fixed his wagon!
