aryanhwy | and now we're really married

Our palate of books (and some furniture) arrived yesterday; last night our livingroom was stacked waist high with boxes of books (it's getting better as I've gotten a number of them emptied and put away).

For the first time, Joel and I will be merging our libraries. We'd merged our analytic philosophy and logic books soon after moving in together, but my fiction and his had always been separate, and his other nonfiction and mine as well. I just don't really see how to organize things here well maintaining that division, so I've decided unilaterally to merge all our collections.

This will be...interesting... Our libraries are the only place where we'd previously had any division of yours/mine, though we haven't made any such distinction with the books that we brought over here or acquired in the last 6 years. So I'm not sure why it feels so strange to be mingling his books with mine finally.

But now we're really married. :)
