Most of today was taken up with cheesemaking, but nevertheless I still managed to complete the calligraphy on one scroll and write the text for another. The first scroll still isn't finished: I need to paint a panache in the bottom corner, but that shouldn't take too long. I've gotten pretty good at panaches. My trick for nice round circles when I don't have a compass? 1 eurocent coins.

I pinned the sleeves into the shirt, and also pinned the side seams, but no other sewing done today.

I feel like "cheesemaking" needs to be a euphemism for something, as in "most of the day was taken up with...ahem...nudge...cheesemaking." Those sleeve gussets look like fun.... Bunny

Alas, with Joel in the US until Sunday, there's no *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* cheesemaking going on here... :)
