Raglan T-9
Aug. 6th, 2012 08:28 pmNot much progress today. I was going to paint the panache on the scroll I calligraphed yesterday, but couldn't find my jar of 1 and 2 eurocent coins. I ruled the lines for the second (of three) pieces of calligraphy, but didn't start it because I'm looking for some good examples of cadels in A, P, Q, D, S, N, I, and perhaps E and F, depending on how much text I can fit on the first line. And also, right when I was going to sit down to look for such, this happened:

So I finished hemming the sleeves on Gwen's tunic, and then started setting one of the sleeves of Joel's shirt and did half of the side seam on the same side.
Piddling bits, but everything is a step forward, and I still hold out hope for getting all five projects I've got on the burner done before we leave. The other garb stuff, probably won't happen, except for maybe the belt for me, since all that involves is finding a long enough piece of fabric and cutting it, or perhaps two and lapping them together.
After letting it sit in the fridge overnight, I took out yesterday's sheep's cheese tonight, and cut off a slice for Gwen. She approves:
