little tiger
Oct. 31st, 2012 01:47 pmThey don't really do Halloween here, but I wasn't going to pass up an excuse to use the cute tiger romper I got a few months ago. It's short-legged, so I had to pair it with tights to keep it from being too cold, and so it looks a bit funny, but still cute. So here's my little tiger:

As you can see from her props, this morning she helped me referee a journal paper, in between scouting out the best Tolkien, and showing off her eyes like pearls. Busy day.
And it's been a busy week. Monday night when we were in the kitchen while Joel was making supper, I got down on the floor with Gwen, and convinced her to let go of the cupboards and take two wholly unsupported steps to get from them to me. She repeated that trick last night, and this morning, in the span of about 15 minutes, she did that twice, and at one point took four steps, slow, methodical, and balanced, to get from the crib to me.
It's all happening so fast.
